 4/24/2010 - Maui, Hawaii - The Maui adventure continued as we wasted no time exploring the south west coast including hanging in the favorite Maui town of Lahaina. We went all the way to Kahakuloa Head, then back to Nakalele Point to climb down the mountain side to get our annual and up close view of Nakalele Blowhole. We stopped at one of our favorite beaches in Maui DT Fleming Beach Park. Dom and Dad rented a couple boogie boards and hit the awesome waves. Boogie boarding on the Pacific catching waves was not easy, but when you did catch a wave it was awesome! Nicole hung in the shade getting protection from the evil sun that burned her in Oahu. We then went on to Lahaina for a whale watch with the Pacific Whale Foundation. As soon as we left the Lahaina harbor we spotted and tracked many whales. We had several whales actually swimming below the boat and also encountered a shark who also swam under the boat. We were constantly being entertained by splashing fins and whale tails on another excellent tour again. Finally back to the condo for swimming and drinks at Kaanapali Shore's ocean front pool.
