 7/23/2011 - Canandaigua, New York - Today the awesome musical talents of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker better known as Steely Dan performed at Constellation Brands - Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center or simply CMAC as part of their Shuffle Diplomacy Tour. It was very hot and sticky evening but Steely Dan and their band put on an excellent show. They played as many of their hits as they could fit into a two hour set. These included Black Friday, Hey Nineteen, Dirty Work, Josie, Peg and My Old School to name a few. They finished with two encores, two of my favorites Pretzel Logic and Kid Charlemagne. The band was tight with and excellent horn section and great backup singers. Walter Becker played lead on several songs and showed he can still play and Jon Herington jammed the rest.
