 7/12/2017 - Corfu, New York - The theme today is a common one as many times prior for us, we headed west to Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Corfu, New York to see another free concert thanks to Deb the performers today were Daughtry and Nickelback during their Feed The Machine tour. Deb won two free tickets barely under the tent but we found a decent spot to take in a pretty good show. The rain held off for most of the show with it raining just a little towards the end of Nickelback's set. Chris Daughtry came out and played a good set that was well received by the decent size crowd. The set included a nice cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. Soon after Nickelback came out and played a good set. They played many of their hits including Photograph, How You Remind Me and even invited a couple lucky fans to join in the singing of Rock Star. I was disappointed they did not play my favorite song by them Hero but still they put on a good show. The stage setup was nice reminding me of the Pink Floyd Pulse setup. They played a three song encore including Gotta Be Somebody, This Afternoon and Burn It to the Ground. Another excellent freebie.Slideshow |
