Robin Trower Rocks The Asbury Hall In Downtown Buffalo

4/10/2019 - Buffalo, New York - Today Dom and I left school and work and headed West down the NYS Thruway into downtown Buffalo to see the living legend guitarist Robin Trower at Asbury Hall. We stopped at the home of the original chicken wing the Anchor Bar meeting Mike and grabbing a quick preshow dinner. We then headed to the venue a converted churh now a music hall, Asbury Hall at Babeville. The opening band was the blues of the Eric Jerardi Band, who were actually pretty good. They played a short half hour set. After a brief intermission, Robin Trower and his band hit the stage promptly at nine. They played a ninety minute jam filled set of classics. They opened with Too Rolling Stoned and played other great tunes like Bridge of Sighs, Confessin' Midnight and an awesome jam on Daydream. They ended the set with a Little Bit of Sympathy. Trower at seventy-four years old never missed a lick and his extended solos were excellent. The trio came out for two encores the first being Rise Up Like The Sun and closing out with For Earth Below. An excellent show in an interesting venue in the heart of downtown Buffalo where Trower proved without any doubt he can still jam !Slideshow
