Bills Make Mistakes Giving Chiefs Win To Stay Undefeated

11/3/2013 - Orchard Park, New York - Today we attended the Buffalo Bills versus the Kansas City Chiefs at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York where the Bills lost by a score of 23-13. It was a beautiful early November day perfect for football and we had awesome seats on the forty yard line in the Jim Kelly Club. The Chiefs were coming in with an undefeated record of 8-0 and the Bills were starting their third string undrafted quarterback, Jeff Tuel, making his first NFL start, so everyone was giving the Bills no chance to win. The Bills however did not get the memo and showed up and played well, overcoming mistakes such as penalties that nullified a punt return for a touchdown and turnovers, giving them a seven point lead at the half. Tuel played well moving the ball downfield and throwing a long touchdown but he also threw a pick giving the Chiefs their only points of the half. In the second half the Bills moved the ball down the field again to the one yard line but Tuel threw another pick this time it was returned 100 yards for a touchdown. This was definitely the turning point of the game and the Bills turned over the ball again for another defensive score in the second half. This game was a major disappointment as the Bills defense shutdown Kansas City but they could not overcome the two turnovers for touchdowns, the penalties and the ineptness in the red zone. A nice day ruined by poor execution they gave the Chiefs this game, it is another tough day to be a Bills fan...Slideshow
