Roger Daltrey Brings Tommy To CMAC

6/30/2018 - Canandaigua, New York - The free concert summer continued today with us heading to Canandaigua, New York to see the Who's Roger Daltrey perform the rock opera Tommy at CMAC. Deb scored some excellent free tickets and with the smaller crowd we did a free upgrade to even better seats. It was a very hot and humid June day. Daltrey was joined by a symphony orchestra and also Pete Townsend's brother Simon Townsend on guitar and backup vocals. They performed the rock opera Tommy in its entirety. Daltrey, at 74 year old, was very good playing some of my favorites from Tommy, like Christmas and We're Not Gonna Take It. He came out for two encores of Who Are You and Baba O'Reily. This was a really good show better than I expected and of course it was free. Slideshow
