 6/1/2013 - Corfu, New York - Today we headed west to Darien Lake Amusement Park in Corfu, New York with Dominic and his Merton Williams classmates to participate in the annual Musicfest. Dominic played his saxophone with both the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. Jazz Band played a good set competing not only against a number of other schools but also against some gusting high winds. Both Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble performed very well taking home the first place trophy in there respective divisions. In between performances the kids had time to relax and enjoy a nice warm June day hitting both the waterpark and amusement park rides. Congratulations to the Merton Williams Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble on their wins in this years Musicfest.Slideshow |
