Robert Cray Band Rips It Up In St Catharines

3/14/2019 - St. Catharines, Ontario - Today I flew solo North of the border, minus my copilot who was at school celebrating his twentieth birthday, into Canada. I crossed into Canada via the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge to St. Catharines, Ontario to the see the awesome blues of the the Robert Cray Band performing at the First Ontario Performing Arts Centre in downtown St Catharines. I arrived just a little early and wandered down to the theatre complex that housed several in one building. This evening Robert would be performing in sold-out Partridge Hall. It was a nice venue and I had a front row balcony seat dead center stage. A good ticket for this small venue. The opening act was JW-Jones who put a decent set of blues. Robert and his band soon followed and put on their typical super tight performance. He played some classics like I'm Done Cryin' and Right Next Door. Again the band was tight and the setlist very good. He closed with Time Makes Two, what else. Another great Robert Cray Band show at another nice venue, I will be back for more soon. Slideshow
