 3/21/2019 - Maui, Hawaii - Started the day insanely early driving Nicole and Ian to the heliport in Kahului for a helicopter tour of Maui. I spent the morning exploring Iao Valley and HA Baldwin Beach Park then headed back to the condo for a late breakfast and chilling with drinks by the ocean front pool at Kaanapali Shores. After hanging for a bit, we hopped in the car and headed east to Makena and hit Makena Big Beach and Little Beach. We stayed for a nice sunset on the beach, then off to dinner for steak and lobster tails at Outback in Kehei. A nice day. The next day started with a nice early morning walk on the beach and breakfast at the condo then off to Kaanapali Beach. The surf was up and Dom and Liv managed to snorkel and see some sea turtles. We were back to the condo for dinner at the Beach Club, sunset and off to Lahaina to hang out. The next day we were up early and off to make the drive down the Road To Hana. We made numerous stops including Half Way To Hana, Waianapanapa State Park and the Black Sand Beach, and thru Hana into Haleakala National Park and the Seven Sacred Pools and we ended hiking thru the bamboo forest on the Pipiwai Trail to gorgeous Waimoku Falls.Slideshow |
