 4/22/2010 - Maui, Hawaii - Our last day on Oahu was disappointing as we drove back to Lanikai only to have it be raining heavily almost everywhere. We went to Lanikai for some last views, stopped at Waimanalo Bay also a pretty nice big beach on the north shore. We then stopped at Nuuaanu Pali to check out the awesome but windy Pali Lookout again along with the wind and heavy rain it was tough to even stand up. We were attempting to do some more sightseeing but got caught in a traffic jam and decided to eat dinner at the Hawaiian chain restaurant Zippys which was excellent and then headed to the airport to catch our Hawaiian Airlines flight to Maui. On our way to the airport we were greated with not one but two rainbows. The flight to Maui was quick and we arrived at our penthouse 2 bedroom 2 bath condo at Kaanapali Shores which was awesome. Our first day in Maui we were provided with our favorite view of the Pacific and the island of Molikai and also 4 different rainbows. We went into Lahaina and had breakfast at our favorite place Moose McGillicuddys. We eased into our time on Maui by just hanging by the beach front pool at the condo and had dinner at the Beach Club. We then went to the beach and took in a another gorgeous Maui sunset which included a visit from a couple of humpback whales playing just off shore. Maui is the most awesomist of places period....
