Benatar, Giraldo and Springfield Rock Out CMAC

7/6/2014 - Canandaigua, New York - The free concert summer continues thanks to Deb, on this night the destination is CMAC in Canandaigua, New York to watch the talents of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo as they perform on their 35th Anniversary tour. They were joined by opening act Rick Springfield. We arrived to the small crowd with tickets in the back but were able to move up much closer as the crowd was lite. Rick Springfield came out and did an okay set covering his few hits including songs like Wild Thing and finishing with his hit Jesse's Girl. Shortly after his set Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo hit the stage and rocked thru a good set of their hits. The set opened with Shadows of the Night and included such hits as Hell Is For Children, You Better Run, Hit Me With Your Best Shot and finishing the set with Love Is A Battlefield. Giraldo played some good licks throughout and Benatar showed that she still has some voice left as she belted out each and every song. The encore included Let's Stay Together and finishing the show with mix of Heartbreaker and Ring Of Fire which concluded with multiple guitar cover solos by Giraldo. This was a good show and again it was FREE !Slideshow
