Celebrating The Christmas Holiday Season At Home With Family

12/25/2016 - Hilton, New York - The Christmas season quickly came upon us this year and as we all get older we are finding the need to simplify. Dom and I made the annual jaunt to pick out the Florio concolor fir Christmas tree. Dom and Liv did a good job decorating it. We also continued the seasonal tradition of what was Dom's final Wind and Jazz Ensemble holiday concert that had him wailing on his sax on Frosty The Snowman, Polar Express and Hot Chocolate. The festivities continued with Christmas Eve gift giving at Grandma Staffords with the Stafford and Kuligowski clans. Then back to Hilton for midnight mass at St Leos Church. We were up late in the morning and Nicole and Chica joined us along with Grandma Florio for the Christmas gift exchange. The gifts were simpler this year as everyone didn't really need anything but Deb entertained with her themed cash giving with pizza dough and sub bread for cash. We had the annual traditional Christmas breakfast prepared by Chef Nicole. The next day the Florio clan joined us for food and gift giving at home. We then brought the New Year in with the traditional lobsters prepared by Chef Mark. Another joyous Christmas holidays in the books. Slideshow
