 3/18/2018 - Maui, Hawaii - Today was the final day of our Maui vacation and the day started with a beautiful full rainbow view from the lanai at our ocean view condo at Kaanapali Shores. The morning started with the final daily walk down Kahekili Beach and then after we headed to Slappy Cakes for a delicious and filling pancake breakfast. We spent the rest of the morning getting packed and hanging by the ocean taking in our last views at the condo, whale watching and sunning. We finally checked out of our condo and hopped in the car and headed east across Maui stopping at some of the local's favorite beaches. We hit Waipuilani Park, Cove Beach Park and the trio of Kamaole Beaches all very nice. It was getting close to departure time and we headed towards the airport stopping for a quick pre-flight dinner at Marcos Deli and Grill in Kahului. We made it back to Kahului Airport to catch our United Airlines flight from Maui to San Francisco to Chicago and finally back to Toronto. Again another sad Aloha to Maui can't wait to see you next year!Slideshow |
