 8/29/2018 - Canandaigua, New York - Today, we were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary with Deb's favorite band Earth, Wind & Fire at the rain soaked Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, New York. We left early and had a nice surf and turf dinner at Outback Steakhouse. We then headed to the show stopping at Finger Lakes Racetrack & Casino for a little pre-concert gaming action. When we arrived at CMAC, the sky opened up and it poured rain with massive thunder and lightning causing the concert to be delayed almost 45 minutes. The storm let up and they let people in the venue, our seats were excellent fourth row center stage. The band came out and did their typical good set. They did all the favorites including Sing A Song, Shining Star, Boogie Wonderland and closing the set with September. They came out and did one encore In The Stone. A great anniversary show that almost didn't happen.Slideshow |
