 7/2/2025 - Buffalo, New York - Today, I headed to downtown Buffalo, New York to Asbury Hall to see the master guitarist Robin Trower perform. This was Trower's return to the Hall having played a great sold out show there in 2019. Today's show was again a sell out and I arrived to Asbury Hall early and found a small line waiting for entry to the general admission seated show. The doors opened and I was able to secure front row seats directly in front of Trower. Trower and his band ,consisting of Chris Taggart on drums and Richard Watts on bass and Vocals, played a great set. He opened with The Razor's Edge and jammed classics like The Day Of The Eagle, Bridge Of Sighs and Daydream. The eighty year old guitar master Trower put on a clinic with his signature licks and tone. The mix was guitar heavy although it may have been us being front row directly in front of Trower. He closed the set with a Little Bit of Sympathy. The sell out Asbury Hall crowd loved it and they came out for a two song encore of Rise Up Like The Sun and Birdsong.
