 7/18/1959 - Lockport, New York - Miss Frances Loretta DeFilippo and Pvt. Jack Joseph Florio were married today at 10AM at St. Anthony's Church by Rev. John Richards on the West side of Lockport, New York. The bride was given away by her father Nicola DeFilippo, of Lockport, New York, and the groom was presented by his mother and father Carmela and Donato Florio from Brooklyn, New York. Rocco Florio, the grooms brother, from Brooklyn was best man. Ushers were Loren DeFilippo, brother of the bride, and Dominick DeFilippo Jr, nephew of the bride. David Rising, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. Miss Rosemary Rosati was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Rosemary Carrieri and Miss Theresa Florio, sister of the groom, from Brooklyn. Elena DeFilippo, niece of the bride, was flower girl. The couple greeted guests for a reception at the VFW Hall and would then honeymoon in Niagara Falls, Canada. Slideshow |
