 11/21/2001 - Lockport, New York - Philemona J. (Andrello) DeFilippo "T", passed away November 21, 2001 in Mt. View Health Care Facility after a short illness. Born January 30, 1921 in Utica, New York she was the daughter of John and Maude Louise Church Andrello. She was a retired production worker at Harrison Radiator, retiring in 1971. Philemona was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Navy Marine Club and she enjoyed bingo. Her husband, Angelo DeFilippo passed away in 1970. She is survived by three daughters Jean Stover of Lockport, Elena (Perry) Azzinaro of Lockport, and Mary Jo (James) Floyd of Lockport; three sons, Robert (Barbara) DeFilippo of Lockport, Angelo Jr. (Lisa) DeFilippo of Dallas, Texas and Mark DeFilippo who is serving in the United States Navy in the Persian Gulf; she is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, brothers and sister-in-law. Friends may call Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Geness Street, where prayers will be offered Monday morning at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Anthony's Church. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. Slideshow |
