Shaw And Thorogood Jam Blues And Rock At Artpark

8/23/2011 - Lewiston, New York - Today was another beautiful summer Tuesday evening and that means another great free concert at Tuesday In The Park at Artpark in Lewiston, tonights awesome band George Thorogood And The Destroyers. It was a perfect night and another late arriving crowd packed in the venue. The opening band was the excellent blues of Eddie Shaw And The Wolfgang. Eddie Shaw played some awesome blues with his son, Eddie Vaan Shaw Jr, playing awesome blues licks on his three neck guitar. A great opening act who will headline at the Niagara Falls Blues festival in a couple of weeks. George Thorogood then came out and played an excellent set. He played classics like One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer, Who Do You Love? and one of my favorites Cocaine Blues. He came out for two, two song encores, finishing the show with Madison Blues. Another very good George show.Slideshow
