 12/25/2014 - Hilton, New York - The Christmas season snuck up again but in the end all the preparations were complete and we enjoyed a peaceful Christmas at home with family. We started with the traditional Christmas eve trip to Lockport to exchange gifts with the Stafford and Kuligowski families at Grandmas house. We trekked back home and attended a nice midnight mass at St Leos Church in Hilton. Santa unloaded his sleigh and Christmas morning we got up at a decent hour and went at it ! Grandma Florio was on hand as usual to enjoy and partake in the festivities. This Christmas will forever be known as the GoPro Christmas as we purchased not one or two but yes three GoPros as gifts for each other. The result ended up taking two back and getting a Phantom 2 drone. After that Santa was very generous with gifts ranging from concert tickets, laptops, nice watches, flat screens and RC helicopters. Another ridiculous haul to say the least. We enjoyed the day playing with the many new toys and gadgets. We were treated to the annual Christmas breakfast of pancakes and omlettes provided by chef Nicole. We later feasted on the delicious Turkey prepared by Deb. The Mike Florio family joined us the day after Christmas for the traditional gifts and feasting on sauce, turkey leftovers, pies and yes cookies lots of cookies.
