Streisand Delights Fans In Final Show At Air Canada Centre |

 8/23/2016 - Toronto, Canada - Today we headed north of the border to have an early anniversary celebration in Canada and to see the legendary Barbra Streisand perform at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. We left early heading into Niagara Falls checking in early at the Best Western Fallsview for an almost freebie thanks to Deb the contest queen. We headed to Fallsview Casino and did a little gambling and then hopped in the new Impala and headed to Toronto for the ahow. We drove to Kipling and picked up the TTC to take us right to the Air Canada Centre. We stopped for a quick dinner at Hoops Sport Bar in Toronto and then headed into the show. Barbra came out promptly and played two great sets. She opened saying , 'I guess I saved the best song for first', and then belted out a great version of The Way We Were. The sellout crowd loved it. She went on to sing many classics including songs like Pure Imagination, Evergreen and closed the set with People. She came and sang two encores of The Happy Days Are Here Again and closing with By The Way. Streisand was great and this was the last show of her tour, possibly ever for the seventy-four year old. It was definitely worth the trip.Slideshow | |
