Green Day Rocks Out Darien Lake Performing Arts Center |

 8/26/2017 - Corfu, New York - Today, I headed west to Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Corfu, New York to see the band Green Day on their Revolution Radio Tour. It was a last minute decision picking up a ticket at cost on Ticketmaster center stage fifteen rows back it was too hard to resist. It was a sellout crowd and the seat was awesome. The concert started with the British rock band Catfish and the Bottlemen. They played a good set that was well received by the sellout crowd. Green Day came out soon after and played a fantastic set. The show opened with Bohemian Rhapsody and the Good The Bad and The Ugly followed by Green Day coming out opening with Know Your Enemy. The band sounded great and played classics like Holiday, that included a bit of Trump bashing and Longview that included an eleven year old joining Billy Joe Armstrong onstage taking over the expletive filled vocal followed by an awesome stage dive. The hits kept coming with more hits like Basket Case, When I Come Around, and St Jimmy. The show was non stop entertainment and included awesome lights, tons of fire and explosions and also had a fifteen year old girl join the band to play guitar on a tune and get the guitar. They came out for two separate encores the first included American Idiot and Jesus of Suburbia. The final encore included Wake Me Up When September Ends and the finale was Billy Joe playing the acoustic version of Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).
