Jeff Lynne's ELO Shine A Little Love On Scotiabank Arena |

 8/18/2018 - Toronto, Canada - Today we headed north of the border into Canada via the Lewiston Queenston bridge heading to downtown Toronto to the newly named Scotiabank Arena to see the classic rock of Jeff Lynne's ELO. We drove to the Western outskirts of Toronto to pickup the TTC at Kipling into Union Station to the arena. We wandered the city a little bit taking in the awesome skyline preshow and then went in to our seats fifth row center stage a most excellent Christmas gift from Deb. The opening band was Dawes who did a just okay set. Jeff Lynne and his band came out and did a fantastic set of ELO classics. The sellout crowd got one classic after another including hits like All Over The World, Livin' Thing, Showdown and Sweet Talkin Woman. He closed the set with Mr. Blue Sky. He came out for a single encore of Roll Over Beethoven. A great show in one of my favorite cities, a very nice Christmas present indeed.Slideshow | |
