Cheap Trick Close Out New York State Fair At Chevy Court |

 9/6/2021 - Syracuse, New York - In a last minute decision, I decided to truck East down the NYS Thruway to the New York State Fair grounds in Syracuse, New York to watch Cheap Trick perform at the Chevy Court stage. It was a perfect evening and I went to the other stage by accident and watched the end of the show by a good cover band Not Journey, who sounded just like them. After I realized I was at the wrong stage I booked over to Chevy Court stage and found it packed. I found a just okay sport back on the lawn. Cheap Trick came out right on time and played a good set. They opened the set with Hello There and played many hits from their catalog including The Flame, Dream Police and I Want You To Want Me. They also played a good jam on The House Is Rockin'. The encore included Surrender and the show closed with Goodnight Now. A good show definitely worth the three dollar admission price. The Chevy Court Stage was nice and included a lake and gas firepits. I managed to view some giraffe and camels upon my exit from the Fair. A great bargain seeing these large acts at the Fair, keep them coming.Slideshow | |
