Daryl Hall & John Oates Entertain Hard Rock Live Crowd |

 9/22/2021 - Hollywood, Florida - The Florida vacation continued today with a nice sunrise walk on the private beach at Lago Mar Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale. The view of up close cruise ships, sandy beaches and storm clouds rolling in were a tremendous way to start the day. We had a nice breakfast at a small local place called Joe's Diner. The rains came in and we took the short drive to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood to see a double dose of live music featuring Daryl Hall & John Oates perform at the Hard Rock Live venue along with opening act Squeeze. We arrived early and grabbed a quick bite to eat and took in some of the Hard Rock memorbilia on display throughout the casino. We did some gambling preshow and even won a couple bucks on some video poker. The show was soldout and we took our seats in the balcony. The show started on schedule and Squeeze opened the show with a pretty good set. They played many of their hits like Tempted, Pulling Mussels (From The Shell) and Cool For Cats to name a few. They ended the set with long version of Black Coffee In Bed with solos from almost everybody. After a brief intermission Hall & Oates hit the stage and performed a good set. They opened with Maneater and packed in many hits like Sara Smile, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' and She's Gone to name a few. It seemed Daryl Hall had trouble with his mix thru out the set but it sounded okay. They ended the set with I Can't Go For That and then performed a four song encore that included Rich Girl and Private Eyes closing the show with You Make My Dreams Come True.
