Earth, Wind & Fire Return To Artpark For Rescheduled Show |

 7/31/2022 - Lewiston, New York - It was Sunday but felt like a Tuesday as we headed to Artpark in lovely Lewiston, New York to see one of Deb's favorite bands perform , Earth, Wind & Fire. This show was a covid casualty rescheduled twice and we held our tickets for a couple years but the day finally arrived an EWF would perform today. We left early stopping at Reids in Lockport for a quick lunch and then headed into Lewiston and hung out down by the Niagara River. We arrived early at Artpark and waited in the shade on this beautiful very hot day. The doors opened late and the opening band was a brass band that was wandering thru the crowd playing, something different. We managed to get our usual excellent spot and the crowd filled in quickly. The General Admission seating was more packed than I had ever seen! It was hot but as the sun went down it turned into a perfect evening for a show. Earth, Wind & Fire hit the stage well after eight and played a short but good typical set. They opened with Shining Star and played other classics like Boogie Wonderland, That't The Way Of The World and Let's Groove to name a few. They closed the short set with September. They sounded excellent and continue to bring awesome energy to the stage. They closed with one single encore of In The Stone. Another great evening of live entertainment at Artpark !Slideshow | |
