 1/30/1993 - Pasadena, California - Deb pulled off the most amazing contest win ever, an all expenses paid trip to Super Bowl XXVII at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. She was the second to last qualifier for the contest needing to be the 98th caller to qualify. Out of fifty contestants, Deb's name was pulled and although she went to work she made it in time to call in and win. We flew as Mr & Mrs Orest Hrynack and arrived in LA. Our first day included going to the Rose Bowl for the NFL Experience. There we met my buddy Mike and his brother Gerry there for the game also. Back to the hotel for more partying and a quick jaunt to Disneyland for some late music entertainment. Super Bowl Sunday started early with parties at the hotel, the Conestoga Hotel in Anaheim, then a bus ride back to the Rose Bowl for Super Bowl XXVII with our Buffalo Bills taking on the Dallas Cowboys. The game was a disappointment for Bills fans as they lost 52 - 17 turning the ball over nine times. Micheal Jackson was the halftime entertainment. We managed to hookup with Mike and Gerry again and also hookup with my college buddy Bill and his wife Sandy who attended the game.
