 4/19/2008 - Oahu, Hawaii - Our time on the island of Oahu continued with a little bit of kicking back and relaxing on the beach. We drove up the east coast to go back to what is now our favorite spot in Oahu, Lanikai Beach. A perfect day to relax on the beach, tanning, swimming and just kicking back and relaxing the day away. The kids had tons of fun doing some body surfing in the ocean on Lanikai Beach. Upon leaving the beach we headed back to Waikiki to catch the bus to Germaines Luau located on the southwestern part of the island. The ride showed us firsthand that Honolulu is a large city as we encountered a small traffic jam. The luau had the typical exotic drinks, buffet food and plenty of hula dancers and also a pretty cool fire knife dancer. Dom went on stage and did the hula and also did the hula on the bus back to the hotel to the people's delight.
