 8/30/2011 - Lewiston, New York - Today was the final show of 2011 Tuesday In The Park concert series at Artpark in Lewiston, New York, the final band Pink Floyd cover band The Machine. It was another perfect Tuesday and the crowd was very small when the doors opened but by the time the show started it was literally packed, probably the largest of the year, but we had our perfect spot once again. The Machine came out and played an excellent set. They opened with Have A Cigar and then Pigs and went on to play many classic Floyd tunes including both Shine On You Crazy Diamonds. The first set was with daylight but the second set after the sun went down included the awesome laser light show. They came out for two encores and played an awesome rendition of Comfortably Numb with a mind blowing final guitar solo and laser light exhibition that could have just as easily been David Gilmour playing. An excellent show all the way around. Artpark will have hard time topping there 2011 season, I can't wait!Slideshow |
