Heart Kick It Out At Artparks Tuesday In The Park Series |

 8/5/2014 - Lewiston, New York - Today we attended the next Artpark Tuesday In The Park Concert series concert, today's artist was the classic rock of Ann and Nancy Wilson and their band Heart. It was an excellent day weather wise finally and we arrived at the usual time to large lines but still managed to get our favorite spot. The opening act was a good looking country singer named Brynn Marie. She had a good voice and was accompanied by a good acoustic guitarist. They played a good set of country and rock that was well received by the near sellout Artpark crowd. After a brief intermission Ann and Nancy took the stage. They played a great set that included some of their classics and some excellent covers. They opened the set with Magic Man and played other classics that included Barracuda, Heartless, Straight On, and a nice cover of Wings, Let Me Roll It. They finished the set with Crazy On You. Ann Wilson continues to belt out these songs and just seems to get better with age. They came out for an encore set of Led Zeppelin covers that included Immigrant Song, What Is And What Should Never Be and finished the show with Misty Mountain Hop. The crowd loved it and the entire crowd stayed till the bitter end of last encore number. The band was good and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee sister duo continue to entertain.
