 4/2/2015 - Maui, Hawaii - The Maui adventure continued with some early morning drone flights over Kaanapali Beach and Kapalua Bay giving us some fantastic aerials of each beach. We had breakfast at the condo, chilled by the ocean front pool, then headed back to Kapalua Bay for some snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. Dom captured some excellent footage swimming with the sea turtles in the Bay. We hopped in the car and headed east across the island to hang on another one of our favorite beaches, Makena Big Beach. We flew the drone and got great aerials of Big Beach and did some body surfing in the big waves. After Big Beach we headed to Kihei and had a good dinner at Outback Steakhouse. The next day started with being greeted by a small mountain side rainbow and the early sunrise beach walk that included some dolphins playing just off shore. We headed back to Lahaina and rented some kayaks from Lahaina Kayak. We paddled out into the Pacific and encountered some sea turtles and took in more fantastic panoramic views of Maui from the water. We went back to the condo and relaxed then headed to Kaanapali Beach at Black Rock where Dom and Nicole did some cliff jumping. Again back to the condo for sunset and another pizza from Pizza Paradiso. We continued exploring the beaches the next day heading to DT Fleming Beach for some excellent boogie boarding. After the beach we stopped by Black Rock and flew the drone one more time, getting great footage again and almost losing it too the Pacific. We took in a fantastic sunset on this evening from the condo and then headed across the street for a great dinner and some excellent live guitar at Java Jazz. After the late dinner a nice late night beach walk with a moon ring. A great time in our favorite place in the world. More to come. 1 2 4 5Slideshow |
