Chicago Make Me Smile At Artpark Rescheduled Show |

 7/31/2021 - Lewiston, New York - Today, we headed West down NY Route 18 to Lewiston, New York to see our first live concert in a long time the band with horns Chicago perform at Artpark. We arrived early into Lewiston and stopped at Apple Granny Restaurant for a quick dinner prior to the show. After dinner, we headed to the show only a mile away and encountered a large amount of traffic. We managed to get parked and into the venue just in time to sit down and enjoy Chicago's first set. This show was scheduled for last year on Deb's birthday and now almost a year later the show is taking place due to Covid problems. Our seats were excellent in the first few rows and Chicago started promptly. The tour was billed as An Evening with Chicago and their Greatest Hits 2021 and it lived up to the billings with two sets of nothing but Chicago hits. They opened with Questions 67 & 68 and played numerous hits including classics like Beginnings, Saturday In The Park and Old Days to name a few. The band was pretty tight and appeared very happy and appreciative to play in front of a live audience. They finished the second set with Feelin' Stronger Every Day and then came out for a two song encore of Free and closed with what else but 25 or 6 to 4. This was a great show and it felt tremendous to be at a live show!Slideshow | |
