 8/8/2021 - Sodus Point, New York - Today, we decided to extend the Deb birthday celebration by driving East down Route 104 to Sodus Point, New York and renting a boat from Krenzer Marine. We arrived midday to Sodus and the rental process was easy and painless. We hopped on a beautiful almost new South Bay pontoon boat and headed out to Lake Ontario to the gorgeous Chimney Bluffs State Park. We parked the boat just off the bluffs taking in the nice views with drinks, snacks and some swimming. Our worries of the possibility of severe rains quickly went away as we enjoyed an almost perfect day on the water. We then cruised the lake a bit with views of the Sodus Lighthouse Museum and the Sodus Point Sodus Bay Lighthouse. We then headed into Sodua Bay and cruised a bit taking in the views of the nice properties along the bay. After docking the boat we decided to have dinner at Six50 On The Bay right on Sodus Bay. Our timing was perfect as soon as we completed and payed for dinner the skies opened up and it poured rain. A nice day was had by all.Slideshow |
