Robert Cray Band Comes Back To Perform At FirstOntario PAC |

 11/16/2022 - St. Catharines, Ontario - I headed North of the border today, driving into Canada via the Queenston Lewiston Bridge heading to St. Catharines to see one of my favorite blues acts the Robert Cray Band perform at the lovely Partridge Hall in the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre. Crossing the border was totally painless with no restrictions or extra requirements and the very nice border guard was very chatty offering much information about blues and border crossing rules. I picked up my ticket last minute sitting in left balcony box being part of the close to sellout crowd. I was also here the last time Robert and his band performed here in March of 2019. There would be no opening act tonight and the band hit the stage promptly at 7:30 and played an excellent but somewhat short set. They played the typical good stuff like I Shiver, I Don't Care and an excellent version of one of my personal favorites I'm Done Cryin'. The sound was excellent and the band was pretty tight as usual. The band closed the show with the Cray classic Time Makes Two.
