 6/9/2005 - Fairport, New York - Several Hilton Village Elementary 4th grade classes enjoyed a nice boat ride on the Erie Canal's Colonial Belle today. The trip started at Lock 32 in Pittsford and ended at Fairport. The kids and adults enjoyed the hot June day and just relaxing onboard the Colonial Belle. Lots of nice scenary and low bridges were accompanied by singing those old canal tunes. Captain Rob did a fine job navigating and narrating a relaxing and educational trip. Everyone enjoyed the day and may have even learned something.Slideshow |
