 10/26/2007 - London, England - The London adventure continued today after a long week of hard work we had the weekend to do some exploring of the London area. We started out by attending a concert featuring Don McLean performing at the fabulous Royal Albert Hall. The concert was good and the venue was very impressive. We then journeyed around London to view some of the famous sites. The first stop was the British Museum which had some interesting exhibits. The next stop on the tour was Denmark Street. This area had a street full of music and guitar shops that were excellent and tempting but only looking no purchases were made. We then hopped on the Tube to view the Tower Bridge. After checking out the bridge we went to the Tower of London. We took the tour which the Beefeater guide made both educational and entertaining learning about English history. Finally in the evening we took a Tube ride down to Piccadilly Circus which had a New York City Times Square feel to it. An excellent trip where much was missed but we can save it for next time.
