 10/27/2007 - Paris, France - The Paris, France adventure started early today at 4 am to catch the high speed Eurostar train from London to Paris. The trip took a little over 2 1/2 hours reaching speeds up to 190mph and was super smooth taking us under the English Channel via the Chunnel. Upon arriving in Paris it was a cool overcast day but that did not stop us from seeing the sites. First stop on the tour was the Eiffel Tower. Next stop on the tour was the Musée du Louvre which was absolutely amazing. There we saw some of the greatest pieces of art in the world including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. We only scratched the surface as the museum is huge. The next stop was the Cathedral at Notre Dame which was also very impressive. The last official stop on our one day tour of Paris was the Arc de Triomphe. We finished the day out taking the open top bus throughout Paris snapping tons of photos and ending up at the Eiffel Tower. Finally onto Gare Du Nord to catch the train back to London.
