 2/8/2018 - Buffalo, New York - Today, I was off to downtown Buffalo, New York to watch my Buffalo Sabres take on the New York Islanders at KeyBank Center. Mike came thru as usual with the nice comp ticket on the blue line. The Sabres managed to pull out a 4-3 win over the Islanders for their first win at home in the last five home games. It was also special in that it was the 1,000th home win in franchise history. Sam Reinhart scored the game winner late in the third period to seal the win. Jack Eichel, Ryan O'Reilly and Evan Rodrigues added goals and Robin Lehner got the win in the nets. The Sabres were a massive disappointment this year but it was good to see them get a win at home,they definitely needed it. Again it is still always good to see my team even as bad as they are.
