Buffalo Bills Monday Night Loss Ends Excellent Texas Trip

11/26/1990 - Houston, Texas - We hopped on a plane and headed down South to Dallas, Texas to stay with my old friend Joe and catch the Monday Night Buffalo Bills game against the Houston Oilers. We stayed in Plano with Joe and had a good time exploring the Dallas area a biit. My cousin Joann came up for a visit and we headed into downtown Dallas for some partying and gaming. We managed to play some golf and ate the biggest lobster we have ever eaten at Red's Seafood Reastaurant. The lobster was absolutely delicious and filled four people. We hopped in the car and drove two plus hours down to Houston to watch our Buffalo Bills take on the Houston Oilers on Monday Night Football at the Houston Asterdome. We were joined by a large group of Buffaloians who were down for the game including one of my college roommates Tony P. We got to Houston early and all tailgated in the parking lot in anticipation of the matchup between Warren Moon and Jim Kelly and our Bills. We had two signs with us provided by WCMF radio to display at the game. We entered the Asterdome early and cheered our team pregame from the endzone even getting a ball from the Bill's Leonard 'Hitman' Smith. It was an excellent game with Kelly and Moon battling back and forth with the Bills coming out on the losing end to the Oilers 24-27. A disappointing loss to say the least that made us drive back to Plano post game. A great trip that unfortunately ended with the Bills loss but a blast none the less. Slideshow
