 4/13/2008 - Maui Hawaii - The Maui adventure continued as we explored the northwest coast of Maui. We went all the way to Kahakuloa Head until the regular road ran out, then back to Nakalele Point to climb down the mountain side to get and up close view of Nakalele Blowhole. We then went on to Lahaina for a whale watch with the Pacific Whale Foundation. It did not take long for us to encounter whales as we were entertained five minutes into the trip by a whale head splashing and playing close to the shore of Lahaina. We spotted and followed many whales on this trip an excellent tour again. We spent more time in Lahaina dining and shopping including breakfast at are favorite little spot Moose McGillicuddys. We then spent time relaxing at our condo swimming, walking the beach with nice views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai, relaxing, and taking in some beautiful sunsets.
