 7/26/2011 - Lewiston, New York - Today was another perfect evening for yet another awesome classic rock band to perform at the free Tuesday In The Park series at Artpark in Lewiston, this time it was the southern rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd. We tried to get there a half hour before the gates opened and found a large line already formed, but we managed to get an excellent spot. The show opened with the Tom Hambridge Band who played what was a very good set. Lynyrd Skynyrd then came out and put on an excellent show for the packed Artpark crowd. Their set was not as long as it could have been but it was definitely energy filled opening with Workin For MCA. They played many of their classics including What's Your Name, I Known A Little, Gimme Three Steps, Call Me The Breeze and finished the set with Sweet Home Alabama. The encore was what else Free Bird, I heard it then! As they jammed on Free Bird Dom saluted with the lighter tribute, polishing off a bucket list item.
