 7/18/2017 - Corfu, New York - A Tuesday night in July is normally spent at Artpark but I gave up my tickets and joined Deb for a freebie at Darien Lake PAC to watch the classic rock of the Doobie Brothers and Chicago. A perfect evening for a show and we brought the lawn chairs and sat out on the lawn and enjoyed an excellent evening of music. The Doobie Brothers opened the show with great condensed set of thier classics. They opened with Jesus Is Just Alright and played other hits like Black Water, Rockin Down The Highway and closing with China Grove. They played two encores of Without You and Listen To The Music. Chicago hit the stage soon after and played an excellent full set. Hit after hit like Make Me Smile, Old Days and Questions 67 & 68. They closed the set Feelin Stronger Every Day. They came out for two encores opening with Free and then closing the show out with their typical jam on 25 to 6 to 4. Again a good show, on a gorgeous summer evening, and it was free, thanks Deb.Slideshow |
