Buffalo Sabres Lose At Home To Hurricanes In Overtime

2/7/2019 - Buffalo, New York - Today, we headed West down NYS Thruway to the KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo, New York to watch the Buffalo Sabres take on the visiting Carolina Hurricanes. The tickets were a Christmas gift for Deb and we had excellent seats about twenty rows up direct center ice. The Sabres lost in overtime to the Canes 6-5. The Sabres overcame a two goal deficit in last four minutes of the game to put it into overtime on Marco Scandella's goal and Jeff Skinner's second goal of the game in the last minute. The Sabres lost in overtime when Jack Eichel missed an opportunity wide that led to the break by the Canes to score the winner in overtime. An entertaining game but again disappointing as the Sabres can not get the crucially needed two points.Slideshow
