Returning Back To Our Second Home Away From Home Maui

3/17/2019 - Maui, Hawaii - Our journey back to our home away from home, Maui, began the day prior. We started in the early afternoon heading north of the border into Canada over the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. We stayed overnight at the Radisson Suite Hotel near the Toronto Pearson International Airport. We had a nice dinner at the Anchor Bar restaurant and then headed to the Casino Woodbine for a quick gambling fix. We won a couple bucks then headed back to the hotel for sleep to catch the early flight from YYZ to Chicago then direct to Maui. We met Nicole and Ian at Chicago's O'Hare Airport to join us on the trip. A smooth long flight that allowed me to catch up on my Oscar films. We arrived at Kahului Airport on time about 2:30 in the afternoon, grabbed the rental mini van and drove the new Lahaina Bypass to our nice two bedroom two bath condo at our favorite spot Kaanapali Shores. We eased into the vacation with dinner at the Beach Club then we took in a nice sunset and passed out. The first days of the Hawaii trip included sunning, drinking and eating by the ocean front pool. We headed back to Kahului for supplies at the Super Walmart and the must stop for a couple dozen at Krispy Kremes. We also headed West to climb down the mountain for awesome activity at the Nakalele Blowhole. It included big waves and great photo ops followed by sunset at the condo and dinner in Lahaina at Bubba Gumps. The next day started the early morning walks on the beach and breakfast by Deb at the condo. We worked on our tans more and headed East to Maalaea Harbor to take a trip on the Pride of Maui that included some whale watching, snorkeling at Molokini Crater, and dinner and drinks included. A good time was had by all on this trip. We got back for a sunset at the Condo. We are getting our Maui groove on. Slideshow
