 4/28/2017 - Niagara Falls, New York - We headed west today to Niagara Falls, New York to Seneca Niagara Casino to take in the Night Of Symphonic Rock tour. We arrived in time to grab a quick steak dinner at TGI Fridays across from the casino. Deb snagged the tickets in a two for one deal and they were pretty good 15 rows back right center stage. The show opened with Survivor singer Robin McCauley coming out for a couple numbers that included what I think was the beat number of the night a cover of Zeppelin's Kashmir accompanied by the orchestra. He also covered his Survivor hit Eye Of The Tiger. Next up was the great vocals of Berlin lead singer Terri Nunn who played her epic Top Gun hit Take My Breath Away. The next act up was Mickey Thomas of Starship who played some his bands hits like We Built This City. He was followed by the headliner who was Rochester's own Foreigner lead singer Lou Gramm. He came out and played on good tunes from his band like Feels Like The First Time, Juke Box Hero and closed the show joined by everybody for a jam on Hot Blooded. An okay show that could have been better I thought betters song selections could have enhanced the symphony portion of the Symphonic Rock show. After the show we headed to the casino for a tax deductible contribution and then back home since I still did not receive my passport and we had to cancel our plans to stay overnight in Canada, next time..Slideshow [] | | Kauai Adventure Winds Down Aloha Hawaii - Part V |

 4/28/2009 - Kauai, Hawaii - The final days on Kauai included breakfasts on the lanai, sunrise on the beach, and hanging by the huge pool at Waipoli Beach Spa and Resort. Fun in the sun sliding on the waterslides, relaxing in the lazy river and chilling out in the resort hot tubs. The resort also hosted a new visitor another Hawaiian monk seal who decided to hangout at the beach right in front of the resort, apparently one of the largest ones spotted in some time. We did some shopping at the Coconut Marketplace and also had lunch at our favorite little fastfood spot TC's Island Grill. We then did some more exploration of Kauai starting in the east going to Wailua Falls which was impressive with a rainbow at the base of the falls. We then headed back southwest to Waimea driving up to Waimea Canyon Lookout. The return trip was definitely worth it as Waimea Canyon offered fantastic views. On the way down from the canyon we stopped and had some nice views of the island of Ni'ihau. We then drove as far west as the regular road would take us then headed back to the east side stopping at some unexplored beaches with Lydgate Beach being the nicest. Finally off to the Lihue Airport to catch the long flight back to the mainland from Kauai to Los Angeles to Chicago and finally back to Rochester. Another sad Aloha to Hawaii til next time. Part 1
